I discovered Casual Bite from Nicole from Pop Up Nairobi. When I was interviewing her for a blog feature. She introduced me to Ivy and I decided to come and do an interview as well as review of Casual Bite.

Casual Bite is a great place for meetings. It is owned by Ivy Mutiso and her husband. I asked her what inspired this décor and she told me that her husband has an eye for art.

“This combined with my desire to have a fresh look made us come up with this décor. We came up with the idea of having bright and healthy/earth colours. The lime green colour is so vibrant and it gives this place a fresh feel. People who are inspired by art walk into Casual Bite and they feel welcome and appreciated. It is a great place for artists to exhibit their pieces. He designed the walls which had a great African Feel”.

There were murals and African-inspired art on the wall. I loved the abstract paintings that have vibrant colours. There paintings look like great murals on the wall and they catch your eye when you first walk in.

The Menu

The menu consists of quick continental menus with light and healthy foods. They promote healthy eating with a lot of organic dishes.Their meat is sourced from a very good supplier and it is Ol Pajetta which is a very top quality beef from Northern Kenya.
