There are many regions that are famed for wine production. I have been taking a course that familiarizes me with a lot of knowledge about wine. I am still in the module 1 part and I am learning about the main wine producing areas in the world. In Africa, everyone knows that South Africa has the most famous vineyards and wineries. I hope I get to visit them someday.

The most eminent wine producing regions in France are Bordeaux, Burgundy, Alsace, Provence, Rhone Valley, Loire Valley. In Italy it is Tuscany, Veneto, Peidmont, Umbra, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Trentino-Alto Adige.
Wouldn’t you love to see Kenya on the list? I had a conversation with someone who was telling me that there was a project to plant vineyards in Turkana and the arid regions on Kenya like North Eastern. He claimed that some grape varieties would do well there. What do you think?
