When I visited Cape Town late last year, I was overwhelmed by how much a had to cover in one and a half weeks. I wanted to visit all the restaurants. I already had a set program but I knew that this was an opportunity of a lifetime and I had to discover different spots.

I was lucky to have friends and colleagues suggest that we try a seafood restaurant for lunch. I wanted to have fresh seafood cooked straight from the ocean. After a scenic drive from the convention centre to Camps Bay, we made our entry to Blues Restaurant. Blues Restaurant is a stunning restaurant that offers exceptional seafood and a breathtaking view of the ocean.

The atmosphere was relaxed and it is a great place to visit with friends and family. The place has a nautical setting. The theme colors are blue and white. There are shells adorning the walls and it gives the space an amazing beach feel. Although I was here for about an hour, I really enjoyed my time and the food was great. I ordered calamari, vegetables and rice while my colleagues ordered different items from the menu ranging from prawn, fish, shrimp etc.

This is a great restaurant to visit any time you are in Cape Town. Keep it here for more food reviews from different places.
