Are you excited about Nairobi Restaurant Week as I am? I actually plan to spoil myself because it happens on my birthday week/ month. I can see the January babies giving me hi 5’s 🙂 The weird/surprising thing is that so many of my friends have birthdays on the last two weeks of January.
It happens from 22nd January to 1st Feb 2015.
I did not get to fully indulge in #NRW2014 because… I would love to give you a valid reason but I can’t think about one right now and who cares! #NRW2015 is here. For all fellow foodies, you will get to sample delectable menus from some of the best restaurants and chefs in Kenya. The price per meal will be about 1,500-2,000 Kshs depending on whether it will be lunch or dinner. You will also get a complementary Magnum Cocktail. According to this post, the Magnum Cocktail will include
- Double tot Magnum
- Single tot Cruz Vodka
- 15 ml Espresso
- 15 ml Chocolate Syrup
Shaken over ice, served in a martini glass garnished with grated chocolate. (I’m already intrigued).
I cannot over emphasize on how this will be a great experience but imagine paying Kshs ,- Kshs 2,000 for a meal that would normally go for even twice and more of that amount? If you have a date to spoil or a friend with a birthday (MASSIVE HINT DROPPED!!!) 🙂 or if you just want to have a great restaurant experience #NRW2015 would be a plan.
